Bred from the best of the Billy Brooks lines. These pigeons are tested and proven from both the North and the South roads, winning prizes from Thurso in the North to St. Malo in the South, and all race points in between. Originally purchased in the 1980’s from the McCabe family in Newry, these are a “classical” type Irish distance racing pigeons which excel over the water or land, best on the natural system, and have been carefully curated by Billy Brooks and the O’Neill family from Larne, whom have furthered the success of this strain of pigeons, winning prizes from France within the first few years of flying them. These birds were kept “pure” for many years, and are slightly inbred as a result. Ideal for a cross-out int your own family or a s a base for a new family at your own lofts.
